What a perfect new years eve! That party was massive. I have to say that, technically, this mix sucks, I had no monitor and my serato vinyl was sweating as much as me, so there’s all kinds of glitches and fucked up mixes… and it was the first time i ever used a sample player (air horn). But the party was off the hook. No doubt about that. I wish I could DJ parties like this all the time. I love nothing more than playing 90s hits like they were made this year.

I just have to say, i love going through old ass hard drives. I’ve got hard drives just sitting around and I plug them in, and voila! A mix I recorded to tape, and then to MP3 (and wma and real audio) for my old website.

This has some dope jams on it for the summer. I forgot about that Kerri Chandler track two. Vocoder, auto tune! Because he can’t really sing haha but he can make a bad ass house track. Word. He can scratch too I guess. Check out at about 50 minutes in when he talks about the track “inspiration” with Arnold Jarvis.

I started working on two mixes of new house jams and its taken me FOREVER to finish them…

Seems like finally I’ve gotten over my perfectionism and I’m ready to post them!

The first one is called STRETCHED!!! The second one is called New York 14 Hour special.

So the other day, I was dying to make a mix. And I was not feeling doing it through serato. So I busted out some vinyl. It turned out OK, the first few records I wasnt really sure what I was going for, and by the end I was blasting some hard house classics.

The mixing and levels are a little crazy, but i don’t care…
